  Sinister Controls specializes in custom made controls. From simple timers to complex full featured show controls. Emergency stop circuits, triggers, multi-stage event timers, audio repeaters, prop controls, etc. We offer custom as well as off the shelf solutions.  Need a controller that is weatherproof or even operate under water? We can do that. Want a touch screen display that monitors your fire alarm, compressor, props, and lighting? We can do that.  Just need a simple timer relay to activate a prop? Of course we can do that as well. Need a stock solution? We are an authorized Gilderfluke dealer & Lights Alive distributor. We can also supply, program, and install nearly any other commercially available controller.

  Although Sinister Controls specializes in Controllers, its certainly not all we do. We produce Pneumatic Props including Air Cannons, Motion Platforms, Air Bag Lift Systems, etc. We also offer design & consulting services as well. We have extensive Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) capability including 2D & 3D. We are capable of true 3D Solid Models that show every component right down to the screws. We can perform stress and fatigue analysis on these models. From laying out a simple 2D map of your maze to developing a complete 3D model of your prop, we can do it.

  Sinister controls relies on its extensive Industrial Automation & Controls background to create the most robust and bullet proof controls and props. Our senior designer holds a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Automation & Robotics. He brings with him nearly 6 years of formal education and over 14 years of experience, 11 years of which come from working for a Fortune 500 Automation company designing automation components and systems. He has designed & installed a complete 100KW hydroelectric power plant control station and worked on multi-million dollar automation systems for the government. Failure is not an option in these applications. This background and commitment to safety and reliability is carried over into the Sinister Controls line of products and services.

  Have a Dark Attraction or haunted House in Connecticut? We take pride in the quality venues available here in CT and will do house calls and anything we can to support you.
